Reservoir opens at Domaine de Chaumont-sur-Loire in March 2022 with an opening celebration April 1st. Suspended within a mature grove of Lebanese cedars planted in 1840 at the center of the domaine grounds, the historic chateau can be seen to the south of the sculpture. The shape of the sculpture changes as its thousands of cast suspended parts collect rain water. When fully saturated with water, the sculpture divides into two fluted forms that echo the conical roof spires of the chateau.
