UPCOMING


July 2013
New pair of sculptures installed,
Columbia Wastewater Treatment Facility, Portland, OR.
One sculpture will be immediately and permanently sited in
tandem with new architecture by Skylab and landscape
design by 2 Ink Studio. A second sculpture will be split into
100 parts and initially installed at 15 sites around the city of
Portland for 3 – 5 years. These sites will include locations
within the urban core, various neighborhoods, parks and the
airport – each site chosen for its specific relationship to the
city’s water infrastructure. After these 3 – 5 years temporary
installations the parts will be collected and assembled
permanently at the Columbia Waste Water Treatment facility
adjacent the other sculpture. Peggy Kendellen, Regional Arts
Council project manager and James Bowen, City of Portland
project coordinator. Consulting engineer: Jared Lewis,
Catena. Lighting design: Biella Lighting.

limited edition suite of prints will become available in Aug

Second installation suspended over main quad will remain
until April 14, 2012. The sculpture will be disassembled by
means of three performances choreographed by Lori
Teague (Emory Dance Dept.) April 12, 13, 14. (7 pm each
