  • Inspired by the marine landscape surrounding a new private residence on an island in the San Juans in Puget Sound, Crane is made with Alaskan yellow cedar salvaged from the Tongas National Forest. The sculpture is 5 feet high x 5 feet x 2 feet.

    The sculpture is suspended from the ceiling of the main living room of the residence within a three-sided floor to ceiling glass extension. The open center of the sculpture faces the Sound, and the horizon of the waterline divides the interior view.
